This is my favorite vanilla. I mean, it only gets better on the shelf with its whole vanilla bean soaking in it! Drawback: Literally every time I have ordered this product from Singing Dog it has come smashed and empty and I’ve had to get them to replace it. If they would just learn how to pack glass products, it would be perfect.

We just spoke by phone. As we discussed, it seems you have ordered our vanilla from other re-sellers in the past. Thank you for ordering directly from us this time. I know it is frustrating that it arrived broken. We have a replacement on its way to you and have begun the process of working with FedEx to determine why your vanilla was used as a kickball. As of this moment we are just 44 orders shy of shipping 52,000 orders of vanilla. Most with FedEx and with only a couple of breakages a year. We try to strike a balance between creating more garbage with too much packaging material or not enough. We clearly erred on the “not enough” side this time. Cambridge Naturals over in Porter Square also carries our vanilla. If you like we can ask them to stock the 5 oz with a vanilla bean in it as well so that it will be available for you without any waiting.
